Resulting from a conversation with another artist, the question arose as to how I would envision a specific chimera of two of my most favorite animals, the fox and the harpy eagle. This artwork ended up being a more stylized and technical feat due to how I wanted to create it. While the visual may appear very abstract, I took care to keep the proportions of the creature as believable and close to life as possible. With this painting however, I underestimated just how much effort it would require of me due to my perfectionist tendencies. In retrospect, I would have liked to have painted a suitable background, although at times it is best to not go back and risk ruining what you have already made.
