Perched on a branch deep within an inked canopy, this small dragon twists its body in motion. Tense, alert, caught mid-breath, as if disturbed by something just out of frame. Though drawn in the same hatched style as Kasshan and Familiar, the creature itself is not rendered in ink but in gold, with silver detailing its claws, scales, and antler-like horns.

This piece was also a study in foliage, using water to thin the ink and shade each leaf with varying tone and texture. The soft gradients of the background contrast with the metallic body of the dragon, giving it an otherworldly presence. The use of gold was intended to hint at something intangible, a shimmer of an ethereal creature captured in frame for just this moment.
